Desire Isn't Baad

The sedan version of the Swift, the Desire isn't as bad as I thought it might be. I saw a demo car over the weekend...and it's ok...But I must say the Verna looks gr8 especially from the back!!!

Swift Sedan

Everyone is curious to see how the new Swift sedan, the Dzire, will look like. The Swift as it is now, looks cute. But not sure about the sedan. They are not releasing any pictures either. So that does not really help us. Still there are plenty of people who may book without seeing. Somehow I get a feeling, it won't be a looker. If you take a look at this trailer, you'll understand what I mean. They just show close-ups of the rear lights and interiors. There is not a single shot of the whole car in a long shot. Although you do see a shadow of a car under the "coming soon" writing. And that leaves me with more than a shadow of doubt!!!

Nissan Pivo: A futuristic concept car

This car seems to be perfect for women. I only wonder about the safety aspect when you have buses and other larger and stronger vehicles on the road. Maybe we should have lanes for small cars, since the nano and reva will also be plying around soon.

This is the front view or rather where the steering wheel is. The cabin can rotate on the wheels so there is no need to reverse. You can ease it into a parking lot sideways.

That small round thing is a robot which speaks. Being an electric car, it is also supposed to be eco-friendly.

Isn't the Nissan Pivo cute? I came across this demo video and thought I heard the model ask the robot where the parking lot is. We may not need the robot now...

A Landcruiser for all seasons!!!

The Dunes of Dubai make a great backdrop for this SUV. By the way SUVs are very popular in the middle east.

What you see here is a landcruiser 2004 GXR. A portion of the hood can be opened on the press of a button. Just imagine taking a ride in the evening looking at the starry sky...

A Car which Oozes Glamour: The Mercedez Maybach

Believe it or not, this is a cars' interior. And the inside is just as glamourous as the outside.

Now this is one of those cars which just ooze style. The Mercedez Maybach.... Depending on the mood your in, the sunroof can be made opaque or crystal clear.

Ferrari

Unlike alot of cars where the engine is placed in the front. The engine of this car is placed at the back. So if there's a high impact collision, the driver maybe safe. Again, this picture is sourced from the internet.

Cows or Buffaloes on moving van

This is a picture while travelling on the National Highway enroute to Allepey. I think the picture is very clear when you think that it's taken from inside a car and both vehicles are moving. We had to move right behind the van to get this one. The poor buffaloes. (Don't think they are cows, are they?)

You got to hand it to Nokia. I took this one with a Nokia mobile.
